Micah's journey is a testament to perseverance and self-made success. Coming from a BAME community and breaking into the industry without formal education in film and TV, Micah has defied the odds.
His impressive career includes collaborations with notable clients such as Smirnoff, JD Sports, Klarna, ClearScore, New Balance and music video artists such as Jorja Smith. He is also a proud board member of Access VFX, a company that connects aspiring professionals with opportunities in the VFX, gaming, and animation industries.In addition to his technical expertise, Micah's background as a performer and dance teacher brings a unique creative perspective to his work in film and television. His commitment to keeping up to date with industry advancements and continuous learning has kept him at the forefront of the industry.
Micah's speaking engagements include presentations at FMX, where he joined industry professionals at a VFX booth, and the Black Create Connect event, where he put on a workshop for getting content creators access to VFX tools to enhance their content and a panel talk at UCL on "Utilising Your Skills" for master's students. These opportunities have solidified his passion for sharing his knowledge and helping others unlock their potential. Once an introvert navigating an industry lacking in diversity, Micah now leverages his talents and networking skills to open doors for others.
